Not surprisingly the immune boosting formulas I mentioned in last week’s email are all on back order.
I didn’t panic though. Wanna know why?
I know of other ways to boost my immune system. Do you?
The social distancing to curtail the exposure to coronavirus works. The mass hysteria over common household items doesn’t.
I hope you are putting their energy into taking care of themselves.
As I have said before, you are your immune system. There is no separation. By taking care of you and practicing healthy habits, you directly support your immune system.
The 3 primary things you can do to boost your immune system are:
- Eat nutrient dense foods, especially ones rich in calcium (naturally occurring, not fortified), Vitamin C, and non-processed.
- Move your body everyday to increase circulation and burn up stress hormones.
- Get quality sleep so that your brain and body can rest, restore and rejuvenate.
If you’re taking synthetic vitamins (made from chemical isolates, not food) you’re not giving your body the building blocks necessary to make and maintain healthy cells. Make the switch to food based vitamins and minerals today! I can help you make the transition.
Viruses and bacteria thrive in an alkaline environment. All the mucus membrane that come in (in)direct contact with the outside world are supposed to be acidic. Some examples are mucus membranes found in the nose, intestines, stomach. Sugar, processed foods, and alcohol promote an alkaline environment in your body.
There are 3 simple things you can do today to increase the acidity of your protective mucus membranes:
- Increase your body’s acidity by taking 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar with water before each meal.
- Reduce or cut out sugar, processed foods, and alcohol.
- Increase fish and fish oil supplements.
The high omega 3 to omega 6 ratio found in fish and fish oil supplements reduces inflammation. It also provides the good type of building material for healthy cells.
Coronavirus is actively searching for damaged and weak cells to invade and call home. You have the ability to increase the resilience of your body’s cells by choosing wellness practices that enhance your natural immunity. You got this!!
