Love In Time of Coronaphobia

By Chia Chia Cheng, Dip. NCCAOM, CNFM, L.Ac.

There have been moments during SIP when I feel like I’m not getting anywhere. Literally and figuratively.  Maybe you know the feeling.

The drive to arrive is what motivates you.  And once you get there, you start looking for the next thing.

What happens when your usual momentum is disrupted?  How do you remain on course?  How do you keep the winds blowing in your sails?

Life as you knew it may have stopped.  But your individual path is still on the move.

We have began week 5 of SIP.  It’s been over 21 Days.  Research shows it takes 21 Days to form a habit.  One that will help you reach your goals or pull you further back from attaining them.

What have you put into practice in the past 4 weeks to support your health and increase your sense of wellness?  What is working for you? How are you loving yourself during this strange and difficult time?

For many health services the transition from an office visit to Telehealth is easy. Mental health therapy is a prime example.  It’s not exactly the same as an in office visit, but you can wrap your head around this online platform.

Acupuncture, not so much.  Acupuncture is a hands on medicine.  True.  If you believe that acupuncture is the only thing I do.

I also practice functional medicine using natural, non drug alternative to support conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes, chronic fatigue, hypertension, thyroid imbalance, mood regulation, digestive complaints, constipation, etc.

Your body still needs to be nourished and cared for.  Your mind still needs to be engaged.  Your spirit needs a revival.

Here is what I can offer you via a Telehealth experience:

  • Check in on an emotional and physical aspect
  • Discuss symptoms, list of current complaints
  • Review diet, sleep, movement
  • Clarify your health goals, address any concerns
  • Develop a treatment plan for the next 3 months, longterm vision for 1 year
  • Recommend an herbal and supplement program for the next 6 weeks.
  • Have your new program delivered to your house.
  • Provide ongoing support to help you stay on your path

My regular fee is $55 for a 30 minute nutritional consult office visit.  I’m offering a “We’re all in this together.” special.  During SIP a 30 minute telephone consult with me is reduced to $25.

The time to check in with me is now.  The time to be clear about your path is now.

A dear friend recently said to me, “Faith is leaning into the unknown while standing firm in the knowing.”

May you lean into the unknown and stand firm in the knowing.

You know you want to live a life of wellness.  You know you want to experience the joys of living a full life.  I can help you get there.

Some people say, “Things could always be worse.”  True, things could always be worse.

I believe things could always be better.  I see how things are getting better. Every day.

Show someone you care.  Forward this email to 3 people you care about who are ready to receive guidance while on their path to wellness!

Thank you for being.

And oh, I want to let you know my knee is sooo much better!  I’m back to walking Artemis everyday and practicing capoeira.

Be well. Stay connected.
